Kensington Market in Toronto is one of the most pleasing urban spots I've visited. The vibe is homey, hippie and happily stuck in a time warp. This living, riotous piece of funkadelic street art was the quirkiest object in an area full of quirky charm.
I spent two decades in front of the camera as a TV reporter and anchor. It wasn't until I retired from news that I picked up a camera myself, and fell in love. Now, instead of reporting on the frightening, the frustrating and the tragic sides of life, I get to focus in on the beauty that surrounds me in Hawaii. Much of my photography centers on flowers in our tropical island paradise, which are plentiful, vibrant and popping with color. Lucky me.
